MAKE A WEEKEND OF IT!
Looking for lodging? We recommend the following stays:
Hotel Ballard & Ballard Inn
Both located on historic Ballard Ave, these are the closest hotels to Golden Gardens. They are surrounded by restaurants, small shops and the farmers market. Ask for the Dunning-Johnson Wedding rate over the phone for a 15% discount. Hotel number: 206-789-5012. Additional information here. At this time, this hotel is all booked.
La Quinta
Located in Kirkland close to the Bride’s Parents. Please note this hotel is only recommended for those wishing to stay on the Eastside (family of the Bride) as it is a 25 minute drive to Golden Gardens. Reservations here.
Home Rentals
A more budget friendly option. Check out AirBnB or VRBO to rent a home and group up with another family or friends. Search for homes in the Ballard, Phinney Ridge, Fremont, or Queen Anne neighborhoods. Email Holly if you’re looking for specific recommendations.
Hotel Nexus
Located in North Seattle along the i5 corridor. This hotel is about 15-20 minutes to the Golden Gardens Bathhouse, and a 20 minute drive to downtown Seattle. To reserve call 1-800-435-0754 and ask for the Johnson-Dunning group rate. Hotel information here.
